Of course, this is just a generic type of diagram and you should consult the wiring diagram which was supplied with the HU. The black or darker speaker wire will be connected to the negative speaker terminal. The colored speaker wires from the HU are going to be connected to the positive speaker terminal of the speaker. The lines point to the speakers but the exact connection isn't shown. The battery and accessory connections will not be shown in the following diagrams but will be the same for all of the systems. The accessory wire for the HU is connected to a power source which only has power when the ignition switch is in the 'on' or 'acc' positions. You can see that the battery terminal of the HU is connected to a constant source of power (the battery) with an inline fuse. It involves a head unit (HU) and 2 pairs of speakers which are driven by the head unit's internal amplifier.
